The dual crown fork system has accompanied us now for 9 years and is an essential part of a BIONICON bike. Originally conceived as a way to create more space for suspension components on prototype bikes, the dual crown system has become a trade mark for good reason! Even if it seems illogical, the dual crown fork is exceptionally light. Longer stanchions allow us to use thinner tube walls as flex is spread over a greater area. The crowns are works of CNC art. Stiffer, lighter and now equipped with a post mount brake fitting and a thru axle similar to the X 12 standard used on the rear wheel.
