Dear Customer,
Below you will find the guarantee conditions for our products. It is part of our philosophy that you shouldn’t just be happy with our products but also with our service. If and when a problem occurs we always try to find a quick and simply solution.

For BIONICON products the legally binding period of warranty will apply. This begins at the time of purchase of new products from an official BIONICON dealer. If within this period a fault or damage to the product appears which is due to faults in materials or workmanship please contact your official BIONICON dealer who will deal with the warranty case In case of a product being repaired the total period of warranty is not extended from the time of the repair.

If in the case of a product being exchanged the identical product is not available BIONICON reserves the right to exchange the goods with a replacement which is not identical in colour or form to the original. These goods will however be at least equal in value even higher in value to that of the original.

The right to warranty replacement does not exist in the case of:
- Damage or faults which arise from the non compliance of information and rules detailed in the product instruction manual
- Damage or faults which arise from acts of God, accidents, improper use, repairs not carried out by qualified personnel, lack of maintenance/care or wear and tear.
- Damage or faults which arise from the use of incorrect replacement parts
- Following changes or modifications to the product which have not received prior approval by BIONICON.



Extended warranty

In additional to the legal minimum warranty BIONICON gives an extended frame warranty based type of 3 or 5 years in total. In order to be awarded this warranty the owner must register his/her product with BIONICON.

The warranty period begins from the date of purchase at an official BIONICON dealer. If the extended warranty period is not applied for in writing, then only the legally binding minimum period of warranty will apply.

- A guarantee period of a total of 3 years is given to frames constructed from composite materials (carbon), Actinum & Scandium
- A guarantee period of a total of 5 years is given to frames constructed from all other materials. The guarantee is applicable for the structure of the frame and not for the finish, paint or decals.

The conditions outlined above which exclude warranty claims are valid for all cases and owners.

In case of a warranty claim within the above named period of guarantee but after the legally binding minimum period of warranty a defective frame will only be repaired or replaced. Any additional costs such as labour or shipping, which arise from the processing of a warranty case within this period are not included. In case of a repair the total period of the warranty will not be extended.
