BIONICON | HyperX

HyperX

Chassis efficiency on-the-fly.

What does HYPERX/hyperextension mean?

HyperX is an active rear shock actuation with a so-called over extension (=hyperextension) mode and is a part of the Bionicon geometry adjustment system

Similar to a knee joint linkage the linkage can be brought to a position whereupon considerable more energy must be produced to activate the rear suspension. The advantages are clear:
_ System integrated chassis adjustment
_ bob free climbing without complex platform damping
_ maximum chassis efficiency through infinitely adaptable shock actuation
_ Over extension angle („blow-off“) can be factory adjusted
_ intuitive adjustment on the fly

HYPERX gives uncompromising climbing performance with power delivery like a hardtail. With the BIONICON adapter fully extended the energy is directly led into the frame preventing suspension bob.
