In 2004 Paul met Daniel Kohl, the former Marketing Director for BIONICON, while they were at an Invitational Freeride Ski and Snowboard event in Arlberg Austria and Daniel offered Paul to send an Edison to start to distribute BIONICON in the USA. In 2005 Paul got together the investment to start BIONICON USA as a division of BIONICON Global and began to travel the Western USA with a demo fleet building brand awareness and having a good time riding with people.

Paul is working exclusively in the outdoor industry for nearly 20 years and is heading up our USA division and demo program. He has done everything from certified bike mechanic, to ski/snowboard repair/rental, to shop bike shop owner, to video producer and a top ranked pro Freeride snowboarder. He has been with his wife Wendy for 9 years and they have a 4 year old son, Flow, who is ripping on bikes and learning to snowboard.

Bionicon USA is currently relocating from its current home in Kernville, CA to Reno, NV and is in transition throughout the winter. We are excited for this move close to some of the best mountain biking and skiing in the world and one of the greatest mecca’s of outdoor sports.
